Boris Johnson recently announced the four-stage roadmap out of lockdown. Now that we have an end in sight, it’s a great time to start planning for events again.

STEP 2 – APRIL 12TH – RESTAURANTS & PUBS

April 12th is when non-essential shops can reopen. This includes pubs and restaurants that have an outdoor dining space, they’ll only be allowed to serve inside again on the 17th of May. If you’re stuck on ideas, this is an ideal time to take a look at our commercial outdoor cooking equipment – offering your customers a chance to dine outside with a special BBQ day is a great chance to get back into the swing of things. This is a sure-fire way to create a quick and delicious opening day that everyone will enjoy – after all, who doesn’t love a barbecue? Make sure to offer some veggie options so everyone feels included such as halloumi burgers and grilled vegetables!

STEP 3 – MAY 17TH – SMALL OUTDOOR EVENTS

Then onto May 17th – up to 30 people will be allowed to meet outside. A great time if you own a business that revolves around outdoor catering! This is when everyone makes up for the past birthdays and celebrations they’ve had to spend in lockdown or postpone so we’d recommend properly planning for this date and taking advantage of the amount of people that will want to host an outdoor BBQ event.

STEP 4 – JUNE 21ST – THE END OF LOCKDOWN

Step four is what we’re all looking forward to and will take hold on June 21st at the earliest – when all legal limits on social contact and events will be dissolved. Britain has been in lockdown for over a year now, everyone is waiting for the day when the constant talk of COVID-19 and social distancing stops, the day when we can look back at this pandemic as a distant memory and spend time with our friends and family when we want.

There will be a massive demand for events such as weddings, birthdays, celebrations and more. Cinders can help you with this, we can provide commercial outdoor cooking equipment that is reliable, durable and low maintenance.
